I just purchased a pair of Minnetonka sheepskin boots and I want to protect them. I know that they are not as expensive as women's Ugg boots, but they were still a good deal of money and want to see them last for a little while. Any help on protecting them would be great. Thank you!
I just bought a pair of Minnetonka Sheepsking boots and want to protect them. But they dont come with any directions on protection. I am assuming I could just use ugg spray, but I also dont want to ruin them. Any help would be great.
I bought a pair of Minnetonka ugg shoes too. The salesperson told me to spray them with waterproofing spray so that's what I did. I assume the Ugg spray is the same thing since they are both made of sheepskin. My bottle says not to spray them too much because it may make the color darker.
I also found this online:
"Split leathers, such as suede and nubuck's, should never be treated traditional oils, waxes or silicone sprays. Heavy duty oils and waxes change the color and texture of delicate leathers. When shopping for an appropriate waterproofing product for these leathers, look for one that specifically states it can treat nubuck and suede."
